We had some weird behavior with A4D on a system that had been updated
for a recent OSX security update. The permissions on

/Library/Application\ Support

were set to 744 and could not be written to.

Active4D would start up in the database, but no log was created, it
would say that the license was expired (even though there was none,
and it should have said trial license). SO again it turnds out that
4D, or A4D could not write to that directory and weirdness ensued.

Raimon, what are the permissions on /LIbrary/Application\ Support/4D ?

You could try and chmod -R 777 to the entire directory to see if that helps.

Thanks,

Michael Check
