I found a case, where all is working fine.
When I have this Folders with the correct files in it.
/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/Active4D/conf/.....
/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/Active4D/lib/....
Yes, I was about to say that I was right before about where the
default directory is, but after I went back and read the documentation
again I saw that is not the search path for libraries and config files.
Looking at the beginning of the "Configuration Files" chapter, it says:
Active4D looks for each config file using the following search path:
- <Database folder>/Active4D (Standalone/Server)
- <User home>/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/Active4D/conf
(Mac OS X)
- <Disk>:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\4D\com.aparajita\Active4D\conf
(Windows 7 or Vista)
- <Disk>:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\4D
\com.aparajita\conf
(Windows XP)
- /Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/Active4D/conf
(Mac OS X)
- <Disk>:\ProgramData\4D\com.aparajita\Active4D\conf
(Windows 7 or Vista)
- <Disk>:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\4D
\com.aparajita\Active4D\conf
(Windows XP)
- Active4D.bundle/Contents/Resources/conf

If you normally keep everything in the Active4D folder, just copy that
to one of those locations and rename it "conf", then make a symbolic
link to that folder called "lib".
