I'm trying to get our v11/v5 conversion up and running for testing. I have read the manual and reviewed previous discussions but can't get A4D to serve pages.
Active4D v5 latest 4D V11.7 4D Remote v11.7 running on Mac OS 10.6.4 Server 4D Server v11.7 running on Windows 2003 Server I have placed the Active4D library files in /Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/Active4D/lib/ I have the Web files in /Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/Active4D/web/ I have modified Active4D.ini so that root = <default>/web `also tried <default>/Active4D/web and lib dirs = <default>/lib `also tried <default>/Active4D/lib I don't have Apache properly configured on the client machine so for now I'm just trying to get simple response via http://localhost:8080/ A request for http://localhost:8080/ results in a default Active4D error 404 page. The site serves various views and doesn't have an index page at the site root, but I created one for and now http://localhost:8080/ returns a 403 error. I also have tried to access known pages, e.g., http://localhost:8080/admin/ping/a4d and get 403 errors. I'm close, but have no idea what to try next?
