The former is not true, the latter is. DOM Parse XML Source is not "served" a file, it reads the file directly from the file system. As such, it could care less (nor could it possibly know) whether or not Active4D considers it executable. The problem is that you were embedding Active4D code in the XML document being *read* (NOT served) by DOM Parse XML Source.
