I have just upgraded one of our databases and I started getting an error message saying that icuin42.dll was missing.
Although it was not specifically mentioned in the release notes this appears to be part of the latest unicode handling that came with r27. So I completely upgraded the database, shell, A4D files and plugin to r27 and tried again. Sadly the database now just crashes on startup. So I thought maybe the previously installed Microsoft Runtime Libraries were causing an issue, so I promptly deleted them. Now the database just reports that the plugin method cannot be executed error # 1 with Active4D (no-longer crashes but no A4D obviously) Questions: 1) So are the Runtime Libraries required or not? 2) What can be causing the crash on startup with the r27 plugin Any other suggestions? Config as follows: A4D r27, 4D v11.8, Windows 7 Thanks, Michael. _______________________________________________ Active4D-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.aparajitaworld.com/mailman/listinfo/active4d-dev Archives: http://mailman.aparajitaworld.com/archive/active4d-dev/
