I googled all over the place but couldn't make sense of the answers. Remember I'm having to translate instructions into French (and I've spent 20 years avoiding any sustained exposure to windows).
Anyway I tried r24 and unfortunately seemingly the same crash. The crash occurs when the A4D_Init method executes the plugin command "A4D init" If I remove the icuin42.dll from the Plugin Bundle, then Windows report that the icuin42.dll is required (loose translation), the A4D plugin obviously doesn't load but the database will launch. NB The Visual C++ runtime libraries (2008) versions are still installed. I think I said window 7 previously, actually this is a Windows Server 2003 machine. So basically any plugins prior to r24 worked OK, but anything since cause a crash. Thanks, Michael.
