I looked into it some more, and the solution I suggested there won't work. 
There are some characters in ISO-8859-1 that are not in Mac Roman. In the case 
of "ΓΌ", it is 0xC3BC in UTF-8, but Active4D assumes it is actually ISO-8859-1, 
which gets translated to 0xCC2A in Mac Roman. 0xBC in ISO is an unsupported 
character in Mac Roman, so I change it into an asterisk (0x2A).

The only way around this is to url encode the values on the sending end, or 
post the form as raw data.
