Garri,

I vaguely remember having problems with hidden files, so if you haven't
checked that do so. It could have been a consequence of zipping files on
one mac and installing them on another and unknowingly bringing over the
Finder's .DS_STORE (folder metadata) files.

Use the terminal and ls -al the contents of the folder to see if hidden
files might exist.
