Aparajita,

I'm referencing an old thread. I'm in the process of upgrading our systems
to 4D v15.4, with latest Active4D. When I did this for v14 we ended up
with all of our Active4D files and file uploads at

/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/

Under the new setup I can only get files to serve from:

/Users/webclient/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/

We run Active4D on a web client and have non-4D apps that rely on us
serving from the root Library path and would like to continue to use
/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/ if possible.

Going back to the old thread it appears I'm having to serve from the
/Users/webclient/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/ because
during setup we had not installed the Active4D key files in the correct
place.

I have placed the key file in:

/Library/Application Support/4D/Licenses/com.aparajita/Active4D

and removed the Active4D files from

/Users/webclient/Library/Application Support/4D/com.aparajita/

Attempts to access our Active4D applications are now sending Active4D's
404 error pages. The Active4D preferences dialog also shows us in trial
mode.

Can license files still be in the root Library path as we did in the past?

MacOS Sierra 10.12.4
4D 15.4
Active4D 6.4r3

Thanks,

Brad Perkins
