This must be a regression then, because iirc full text search within Files
worked at some point. Maybe some configuration parameter changed? It would be a
bit sad if we couldn't get that to work, since it works pretty well on Desktop
by now.

Icon view: the resizing issue is one of the most glaring cosmetic issues
that everyone notices. as the sidebar is key functionality, everyone will
notice this.

Sidebar tabs visual refresh (unless we manage to get rid of the tabs :)
Intro page issues: I'm going to guess that this is more of a discussion
item; it may join the Dropped items once this discussion is had as I have the
suspicion it may simply be a discoverability issue which needs a more general
PA-wide solution

Timeline zoom: valid points, though compared to other items it generally
works and is less of an eye-sore
Dropped:
file copy: this is a more general issue in PA related to discoverability
ctrl-click: multi-select is possible and works pretty well (long tap and
multi-touch drag). again, discoverability.
Discoverability really is the biggest issue here. And it's not because our
gestures are less "intuitive" then those used in other systems, it's because we
don't show them to users in lots and lots of ads before they use our product.
That's why we had the idea of short "tutorial" even before PA1 but we haven't
got to do them yet.
This definitely has to change for PA4. FAQs may help a little here as well (we
might have to make them more prominent, though, maybe put them on the
introduction Activity in a plasmoid like the other intro plasmoid), but videos
would be a lot better.
Another way would be to highlight possible drop-targets if drag&drop action is
initiated (that won't help with the selection issue, of course).
Missing Functionality

File and Tag rename/delete/remove: this is key functionality that is
simply just missing, so critical to get this one done
It is critical (espially the renaming an deletion of tags). However please
consider the second solution I just put into the wiki. If you don't agree with
it, we should discuss it more, but I am very strongly against many aspects of
the first solution. It seems to me to try to overcome discoverability issues by
introducing much less powerful alternatives to drag & drop. This should not be
the way to go.
