Sounds awesome. o/

I'm currently in the process of redesigning our
contact-list-applet,
and sorting out all the declarative backends and models, so we'll
be
able to fix a lot of things very soon.

That dropbox link takes me to a login page.
If you can't make it public, email me privately and I'll host it
somewhere for everyone to reach.

Hi Artur,
first of all: I'm really happy that you are working on this! Having a good, well-integrated IM client for Plasma Active is very important for us, so your work is very much appreciated by the Plasma Active project! In case you have not heard my name yet: I am currently "the User Experience guy" in the Plasma Active team, I am responsible for the Plasma Active Human Interface Guidelines (http://community.kde.org/Plasma/Active/Development/ActiveHIG) and I consult the KTp team on UX issues as well, so there are numerous reasons why we should work closely together. Since many aspects of the application you are creating are not covered by the HIGs yet (because they haven't come up in PA apps yet), KTp Active will be a precedent for other applications. For that reason it is even more important that we work closeley together, because the precedent of course has to give the best example possible ;) Your mockups look pretty nice already, I just want to make sure that the KTp UI blens in with the rest oif Plasma Active as well as possible. I have CC'd the Plasma Active mailing list because I think it makes sense to work with the Plasma Active team as well as the KTp team on both UX and technical aspects.
What means of communication works best for you? Email? IM? IRC?
Looking forward to working with you,
Thomas
