When I set my machine to boot from the network it goes through the process of searching for an IP it does not find any PXE images so it boots to the Hard Drive. Never gives me the press f12. Now I put in the RIS boot disk and everything runs as advertised.... I have RIS'd many laptops and apart from the issue I detailed earlier I have had no problems. As long as the laptop is fairly modern. I guess this is where you use SysPrep instead of RIS.
