What Version of GroupWise are you running? GroupWise 5 and 6 will run on eDirectory and could happily co-exist for a period. There are some good third party migration tools that can port your mailboxes across while allowing Ex and GW to co-exist during the migration (if you have multiple sites, medium+ client base, etc)
