is probably from stale COs that you have on the DCs that remain. That is, on the
remaining DCs you probably have connection objects which say we are to pull changes
from deleted DSAs. Visit the DC in question (whomever this dcdiag was run on/against)
and look in the ntds settings object of that DC. Be sure you don't have connection
objects that point to the deleted DSA. That is easiest to do in ds sites and services.

Have you ever removed a domain controller from Active Directory without going through
the dcpromo process to bring it down to a member server first? If you have then the
servers NTDS settings will still be around which could be a possible cause. Perhaps
try a metadata cleanup as described here http://support.microsoft.com/?id=216498

This error will occur when you do not have a reverse lookup zone defined in DNS and
does not necessarily indicate a DNS problem. In fact, usually it is a harmless error
message. You should still be able to use nslookup to resolve records, give it a try.

By running the nslookup command I have received the following error

*** Can't find server name for address 10.180.200.3: Non-existent domain Default
Server: UnKnown
Address: 10.180.200.3

Is the machine resolving correctly, i.e. do an nslookup to ensure it can connect and
resolve from your DNS server/s.

If so then do a dcdiag (part of the support tools on the W2K disk) and then paste the
results to here.

Rob
