Yes, you can start the services remotely. 1. Login on server or any other XP machine with administrator 2. My computer > right click > manage 3. Right click computer management in manage windows and point to connect to another computer. 4. Give the destination computer XP machine name on which u want to start the services. 4. Now move to services and u can start/stop or disable any service.
