clients and DCs shouldn't care about the timezone or
daylight saving settings of each other - time syncronization doesn't use
it. I.e. you can have DCs in different timezones as well as clients and
all work happily together. The important thing is that they're real time is set
correctly in accordance to the timezone setting. If you "correct" the
actual time of a DC to match that of a different timezone or daylight
savings setting, the trouble starts.
What type if issues where you experiencing (likely
access issues) and was the time "manually" corrected due to the missing daylight
savings setting?

Subject: [ActiveDir] Is it important to keep correct timezone settings on DC?
Hi all,
Does the client takes timezone and daylight savings changes from the DC?
I was under the impression that timezones and daylight savings changes are local to the pc and the dc ntp server runs on a Zulu timezone?
Just curious as I had an issue with a remote site today due to daylight savings tickbox.
Thank you and have a splendid day!
Kind Regards,
