Thanks Hiram. We use an ESB as a transport adaptor between our business components and ActiveMQ. We have business requirements where certain components need to be paused. Even though, we can do this at the business component level at the ESB, the message is still being consumed by the session, even though it is not routed to the stopped business component. However, the implication is that the message is lost, whilst the business components are paused. We need finer granularity in terms of pausing individual queues on the server side.
