I've tried to install the dbiproxy under Windows to serve a MsSQL database.
However, It wont start. I've intstalled all of the modules that it's asked
for up to the last which is the Storable.PM I've installed all the modules
using PPM where avalible otherwise I made them with the pmake program. So
now I've got everything all installed, only the Storable.PM module is
version 1.0.1. When I try to run the dbiproxy script it fails on module
version dependency, It needs Storable.PM v 1.0.3. I've installed the cygwin
package but cant get it to compile the newer version of the module. Has
anyone else come up against this. Is there any other way to connect through
to a MsSQL server? Or even a better way to compile modules on Win32?

I'm using MsSQL 7
Windows Nt 4 Server
and Active Perl 5.6

Cheers,
Andrew
