You probably want to post to the group that the product will eventually run on. The reason to not cross-post is that many of us are subscribed to more than one group and we get multiple copies. Not to be rude, but another of those netiquette rules is to not top-post (intersperse your replies after the pertinent paragraph and remove parts no longer relevent to your reply). An even more important one is to maintain the proper quoting so we can tell who said what.
