Hi,

I am having a client who is using an "get.exe" file of a perl-prgrm.
Unfortunately, some ex-employee had written the script strictly for v 5.6 of
perl.

The ex-employee never put the code he had written on SCCS (our source-code is
maintained here).

Recently the client removed 5.6 and put on 5.8; hence our "get.exe" is not
getting executed. Meanwhile, client also has other scripts requiring 5.8.

My question:- Can we have both 5.6 and 5.8 versions of Perl installed on the
same machine for a single-user?? I mean, will this result in chaos later on
while coding??

  Regards,
  Ukh
