Yes, we agree. It is true, however, that many/most of the same individuals
skilled enough to build and maintain the "free" software you mention also
write software for profit. Unless you're writing shrink-wrapped products,
you do what you're paid to do. The issue at hand is contrasting Python with
VB, not Open-source vs. MS.
