hi all,
my copy of the newly published "Floss+Art" book recently arrived & altho
i've hardly read any of it yet, i'd like to recommend it to anyone who's
interested in free/libre/open source software & art practice. it's full
of diverse & well-written chapters that range from a short history of
computers on the Maldives (pretty interesting stuff!) to creative
commons, copyleft, livecoding, discussions of specific applications &
wide philosophical meanderings.

it's published by GOTO10 (http://goto10.org/flossart/) & unfortunately
unlike the software, it's not free : ( but it is worth it : )

h : )
