hi, I just thought I would drop in the info I recently found out about Berlin artists visas in case anyone is considering coming to Berlin.
Berlin has a very good artist visa scheme. It is local to Berlin (ie. not in any other German or EU city as far as I can tell). It is possible to get an artist visa for 1 year if you can : * prove you are an artist * get German health insurance * show some $$ in the bank there are a few other things but these are the biggies. My recommendation, and the process I have just gone through, is to hire a lawyer (450 eu) and let them do the work for you.
