Open Allure DS is a new voice-and-vision enabled dialogue system. The workings are described in a series of short videos at http://bit.ly/openallure but, briefly, the computer talks, listens, watches and responds (no mouse or keyboard). More details are available at http://openallureds.org
Try your hand at writing an interactive script for Open Allure following the instructions at http://code.google.com/p/open-allure-ds/wiki/SeparateContentFileSyntax At the current stage of development, this dialogue system works between the computer and a human, but future versions should also support a mixture of multiple humans (like Upstage) and multiple computer voices (like Second Life).
