Got you both beat there :) First program for me was on a machine code emulator, using Hollorith punch cards, on a HP "Desktop" at my old highschool in Napanee... then on to BASIC on that one. Later, a TRS80 with a full size monitor and a keyboard that input directly made me feel light years ahead! :D We've come a long way ... Good to see you jumping in (with both feet, hopefully) Jason. Lotsa stuff to be done here. I live in Bowmanville and am a member of TLUG as well as CLUE. Please let me know of your next meeting, if you don't mind me crashing in on the party. Helps me get a view of some other organic growths of Linux, with of course, interconnection to the rest of the Linuxmass. Any interest up your way on rural Linux outreach? -jim __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
