You should probably also consider the Dell 2405FPW LCD monitor.

At $1,200 it's still more expensive than a CRT with similar resolution,
and the 12ms response time is inferior to what you get from most CRTs,
However, it has a respectable 1920x1200 resolution and, as you probably
know, there is no flicker on LCDs.

Michelle,

The NEC FP2141SB and Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB can both do 1600x1200
@ 109Hz. They can also do 1920x1440 @ 92Hz, which is
actually bloody impressive. I mean, that's a lot of pixels to refresh
every hundredth of a second ...

You should be able to find them for around $600-700 USD.

Hi Rob,

Unfortunately, I do have sensitive eyes and I do wear contact lens which
has caused additional sensitivity. I've been playing
around with the different refresh rates which is why I've landed at 100
- 120 hz is what I can take. The monitor I just bought
isn't going to work for me - and it's giving me headaches if I sit in
front of it for any length of time :-(

Thanks again!

Michelle
