This is an interesting question and one I've been following.

So, I've had a couple clients ask what I edit on and I tell them Premiere. If
they look puzzled I say its by Adobe and is the Photoshop of video editing.
Then I tell them that its the absolute best and costs millions of dollars plus
Im the only one who has it. They nod knowingly.

Course, I dont do movies and it might be a different world there. I have seen
FCP represented in movie credits but last year or the year before "Poor and
Hungry" an indie film out of Memphis ran on IFC for what seemed like a month.
Premiere is credited at the credits roll, version 4.2 I think and it was shot
on Hi-8 and turned B&W in Preimere. The movie looked good. At first watching I
didnt know it was done on Hi-8 and Premiere 4.2 (which I had been using before
upgrading to 6.5 and now Pro 1.5). I had been working in 16mm film and
transferring to digital video before editing in Premiere and I thought that
they must of shot it in B & W film. I got interested in the film and did some
research. I had intended to go over to Memphis and look those guys up but no
one seemed to know about them.

Thats the only one I know about though. It would be nice to have a list of film
and other work downe with Premiere so we could check them out - compare notes
so to speak.

I'm not opposed to learning a new system but I already know this one pretty
well.
