Hi Irene, I am not sure why adobe premiere fails to load the mpeg or avi files because I had the same problem a while back and no one could find a solution. But I do know that if you capture with the program you should have no problem. If I import my media from another source (windows movie maker for example) Mine would load up fine and then get stuck on one frame at the 5 min mark. ??? I just capture with adobe and fixed the problem that way. =)
