Premiere 7.0 is the same as Premiere Pro 1.0. Therefor, Pro 1.5 was only a .5 upgrade. Adobe made some updates to media management, and not a whole lot else. They are very similar. Neither is more powerful than the other. But, if your question is which one is newer, the answer is 1.5.
