The standard DVD (4.7gb) usually fits about one hour of high quality. For 1.5 hrs you'll have to lower the encoding (which is usually around 7mb/s) to perhaps something like to 4 or 5mb/s.
You should search the forum since it's been covered extensively. I'd recommand you check out www.videohelp.com since they have extensive tutorials and such.
