Leonel, As far as I know, i believe the subtitles are stored separately from the mpeg movie. They are stored as postscript, or simple text, that the DVD player displays on the screen. Like closed captioning. However, I found another forum that offers some more advice for you:

Now please tell me if I am right: the subtitles are not a separated file from the mpeg, they are in the mpeg, and thats why we use an OCR to get them out in a separate file. Is this right? Or am I absolutely messed up? Thanks for all your help. Leonel. __________________________________________________ Correo Yahoo! Espacio para todos tus mensajes, antivirus y antispam ¡gratis!
