Claudio- if it is a jpeg image why don't you make the background transparent in 
an application such as Photoshop? You could make a layer out of your background 
and then erase the white with for instance the magic wand tool? Then you would 
only import the silhouette?
If you want to do this in Premiere you would be looking at the chroma key 
effect. You apply the effect and them fine tune it under effect controls (Pro 
1.5)
