I've run into a small number of DVD players that had problems with discs burned at faster speeds, but usually changing media brands cured that. My car stereo does not like Ultra Speed CD-RW discs at all. It'll work OK on about the first 2/3 of the disc then it skips. Speeds for CD-RW, up to 4x is standard, 5x to 12x is High Speed and over 12x is Ultra Speed. Unlike the write once CD and DVD discs, rewriteable media has its allowed recording speeds coded on the disc. That's optional for write once media but I've never had any with it. ____________________________________________________________________________________ The fish are biting.
