Hi Taky:

I'd like to compound your question even more. Other than Blu-Ray and
DVD-HD, how are people getting HDV material on a HD-TV?

I'm shooting and editing in Hi-Def; but I've yet been able to get the
true HD experience on TV. So far what I've concluded is that I need to
create an AVI or MOV film in 1080 resolution and then hookup my
computer to the HD-TV and use it to display the video.

What are the rest of you doing to get HD on TV??

author a progressive DVD using Encore? Is it possible? Or is it
necessary? Does the output looks better on HDTV that way? Thanks for
any input. Taky
