Hey guys, take it easy. No-one's hijacking anything here.

The simple answer if the thread changes character is to change the subject
line. It saves a lot of stress! :-)

  Why you hi-jack my thread?!?!

Here's a forum that talks about getting HD video from Canon HV20 to be viewed
on HDTV

  Hi Taky:

I'd like to compound your question even more. Other than Blu-Ray and
DVD-HD, how are people getting HDV material on a HD-TV?

I'm shooting and editing in Hi-Def; but I've yet been able to get the
true HD experience on TV. So far what I've concluded is that I need to
create an AVI or MOV film in 1080 resolution and then hookup my
computer to the HD-TV and use it to display the video.

What are the rest of you doing to get HD on TV??
