File>New Project>choose project settings in the HDV area that match your footage/footage properties from your camera. I'm not in front of Premiere right now, but if you're choosing the DV NTSC 16:9 widescreen settings for HDV footage, that's entirely...umm...no good. Download Premiere update 3.1.1 so you have the latest version of CS3. Explore all the project settings and pick the correct one and your troubles will be over (yeah, right). :) John

I don't know where to start... Let's see... 720X480 16:9 widescreen, D1/DV NTSC, 30fps... Hmm.. let's see... Hmm.. .that's pretty much all I can get in terms of projects settings... Is that enough ?
