Hi Kent,
I'm not really know using PP2 timeline for editing MPEG-2 files but TMPGEnc
software is very good for editing that kind of video files.
Just to share the info.
My Blog,

Thanks

I'm glad this topic has been raised, as I'm currently shooting/editing a
music video and have been editing MPEG-2 in the PP2 timeline
without any problems (other than a long load up time at program
startup). I'm using a new dual core laptop with 3 gig of RAM with a Sony
V1U camera.

My question is what can I do to output to a hidef format for possible
television release?

Thanks

Kent Hughes
