Hi Jean,

There is an option called "Project Manager" on the menus.

There you can generate a "trimmed" version of you Project, using only the
files and the parts of footage needed to re-open the Project in the future.

You can specify "extra frames" at CUT points so you can make minor changes
in editing later.

Usually this decreases immenselly the size of the Project, so you can back
it up to removable media.

I hope this helps.

Ernie

Assunto: [AP] What about after completing a video project ?

Gentlemen,

Waht about after completing a video project with PPro CS3... What are
the steps to do in order to get rid of all the files used for that
project ? I know how to get rid of the rendered files, but what
about the PRV files (audio previews), MACC files (cache)...

Are they other files I can get rid of ? Is there a way to get rid
all of them all at once ? Clear the cache and start over fresh for a
new project ? I'm just curious and can't believe anyone has to go
thru all the directories to search for files related to the project...

Thank's for any input!

Bye!

Jean
