Jean,
Here's a tip for next time you create a project that should help
tremendously when cleanup time comes. When you start a "New Project,"
make sure you set it up in it's own directory on your video hard drive.
For example, I recently did a project for a boxing event here in Las
Vegas. When I created the new project, I clicked on the "Browse" button
next to the "Location" bar on the New Project window. DO NOT, I repeat,
DO NOT, use Premiere's default location. It is always on the C drive
and will lead to slowdowns as your project gets bigger. After you click
Browse, the "Browse For Folder" window will open. Click on your video
drive in the list to open all the directories in that drive, then click
on the "Make New Folder" button at the bottom of the window. Type in
the name of your new folder (for example, I typed "Crown Boxing" for
mine) then hit the Enter key to create your folder. Now, type the name
of your project in the "Name" field on the "New Project" window and
click the "OK" button. You may need to go into the
Edit->Preferences->Scratch Disks menu to make sure that all your scratch
disks are set to "Same as Project." This way, when you're finished, you
only have to delete one folder to remove the entire project.

It's also a good idea to use the Project Manager option before deleting
to create a trimmed project, then burn the trimmed project to a data DVD
for backup, as suggested by Ernesto. This way, if the client comes back
to you a year later and wants to make changes, you have the original
project available.

Good luck,
Glen in Vegas
