Hi:

I have the same setup and the same problem. I would up capturing the
tapes into Final Cut Express and then importing them into Premier. My
guess is that an OS update didn't get picked up by Adobe.

That's my work around.

PS: For a while I thought my camera's fire wire port was fried. But it
was just software.
