Terra:
the only solution is reinstall all the camera drivers again.
I had the same problem with a Sony TRV33. The PP suddenly did not recognize my 
camera, but the reinstalation solved the problem. 

Take care to mantain unplugged the camera data cable during instalation, 
install it and after it connect the camera
