Donald. In this case more is better, but 8Mb cache would be adequate for non-intense work including the OS. However, as there's so little difference in drive prices these days, it might cost a few cents more for the 16Mb cache drives, but probably worth it in the long run. The important drives for size, cache size, RAID/speed and data integrity are the ones used by AP for scratch and for storage.
