The website www.keepvid.com will download FLV and MP4 from Youtube, and it can 
download videos from many other sites, all without having to install anything.

I used to empty my browser cache then go directly to the site with the video I 
wanted to save. The video file would be the biggest file.

Then Adobe changed Flash player 9 to put the videos into the Windows temp 
folder and delete them when the browser was closed, plus it also does something 
to block the user from being able to copy them to another folder.
