if it has an ExpressCard slot you can get a Firewire card for it. i think 
there's even ExpressCards with both eSata and Firewire.

One thing to watch for on some ExpressCard cards is they may actually be USB 
2.0 devices since ExpressCard incorporates a USB port along with an x1 PCI 
Express interface.
