I guess we are all bringing back fun memories. I flew from Sioux Falls SD to Chicago to go to one of the first Amiga computer shows. I remember walking in the front door and seeing the bouncing ball and being amazed. Next I watched Video Toaster and was blown away. How far we have have come and you are right it still is about getting other people interested in watching our productions. i guess computers are like first loves. I still think very fondly of my Amiga. It must of been fun to be on the development team. I owned several "deluxe" programs for the Amiga but I can't remember their full name. Darlene
As long as we're getting nostalgic, I was on the development team for the original Amiga 1000 way back in 1984, and worked as an assistant producer at Electronic Arts for Deluxe Productions, a video production program for the Amiga. EA tried to coin the phrase "desktop video" for the marketplace, but it didn't stick. Neither did Deluxe Productions. These days you can shoot high-def video, edit it, and post the results using an a iPhone. It's a different world, but making something people want to watch is still every bit the challenge it was back when.
