BTW, if you do decide to try CS5, make sure you use a copy of your CS4
project because CS5 makes projects into a new format that is not backward
compatible with CS4. I believe it does put up an advisory to that effect.

Subject: [AP] crashing during export now
me again.
so we finally got to this point (time to export). he tried to export thru
encore to a Flash file (wanted to put a version on the web)and said that it
froze up & he got a low memory message (i was out of town so didn't
experience it myself). this is the same project you guys have been helping
us with. i'm beginning to wonder if there isn't something wrong with this
computer- but as i said it's brand new, never been on-line, i checked all the
obvious physical issues for problems, but it still seems to be way
overtaxed. or maybe this particular project is jinxed? does everyone agree
with Lee that if/when we upgrade from CS4 to CS5 things will be much better?
I'm working on that angle at the
moment but have not obtained it yet.
thoughts are appreciated as usual!
Adriane
