I have an unfinished project on my computer that was started in Win7 32bit
and Premiere CS4. I have now installed Win7 64bit and CS5.
When I want to open the project Premiere wants to convert it and is
looking for
some clips. Selecting the clip I get the following error message:
/Cannot link media
The selected file cannot be linked because its type (audio) does not
match the
original file's type (audio and video)./
This can not be, as the files (SD) are exactly the same ones I used before.
The project was started with 16 hours of footage which has been reduced
to 1 hour
at this stage but has to be reduced even further. It would be a massive
task to start
from scratch again.
A solution would be greatly appreciated.
Uwe
