so,
let me understand you. do you thing that capture via firewire is same like
HDMI?
I've done some capturing with premiere... not happy about scene detection on
HDV
(it get 1 frame before and 1 after) - every single clip I have to re-size it
because of that... it has to be perfect.. NeoHD das a good job (except that you
have to delete from premiere plug-in the MOV importer as it will not work a lot
of quick time animation - but cineform will improve it inthe nearest future
hope
so)
so It will not help me if I will buy the MX022... even not a better speed on
rendering?? my cpu: I7 965 3.2, 12GB ram, 1Gb DDR3 Nvidia 9800 GT (I've add it
to premiere graphics card list to be able to use Mercury )
Thanking you
Andrew...
Any other points of view?

CS5 will capture DV and HDV natively via firewire, just look in the capture
settings for 1394 as the source. Also set the deck control to firewire and
you can control the source during capture. The MXO2 gives you HDMI, and
Analog capture and playback and HD SDI and SDI in all versions except the
mini.
