Some general comment. Observations over the years....It seems to me that most
people get into trouble when using add-ons or extraneous codecs (eg: altering
format to speed up DVD authoring) when the basic software will do the job
straightforwardly.
This is not meant to be a criticism of those trying to do the best job
possible, but seems to be a statistical fact.
I guess Adrianne has a better computer system than mine (being newer), yet I do
not have problems like audio or anything else except slow preview with AVCHD.
With Win7 64 bit and PP CS5, HDV previews like a dream...ACVHD workable but not
pleasant because I do not have a CUDA videocard that Adobe supports (yet).
However using Cineform Neoscene this is all OK. and plainly this is what
Adrianne was trying to achieve with her matrox add-on !!!? Kelvin
