Strange, it had started working again when I went back to it, did it again
though and after a save and restart it came back to life.  Never done
anything like this before, been up and running fine for over a year as well.

Thought I had solved all the glitches by upgrading everything, now it won't
even render 'on the fly' for some reason, even though it has done before
with the CUDA supported card.  Might swap out the GTX 470 for the 480 I got
a month ago, try the 'hack' and see how that goes.

This (that) PC isn't connected to the Internet, so very odd how it can
telepathically get the usual online issues one gets...

Anyway, video is now done and ready for the next gruelling stage of
uploading it.
